Blogging is back!

Seriously! It's been a while! For the first 3 weeks in August, I was in California, DC, and then Canada...but even with all that I don't have a lot of pictures to show for it :( Some super great times though, and I have all the pictures in my head so you're just going to have to believe me on that one. The vast majority of it was spent at swimming pools and hotel rooms though, so I'm not sure if you'd even really want to see what was going on there anyway. esp the hotel rooms...jk!! ANYWAY...

Between Cali and Canada, I flew to DC for my boy MKD's wedding to Lillian. The travel to (a red-eye at midnight) and from (18 hr trip to Canada) wasn't the greatest, but it was SO worth it to be there for Mike and Lillian and enjoy their weekend with them. They were just so so happy, and I love seeing that. Mike's been a close friend since my 3rd year at UVA, and he's been there for me through a ton of life changes and experiences, and to be able to be a part of his wedding was really awesome and a true honor. I brought my friend Alison, who I've been friends with for just as long, and the reception was a total blast with her! We tore up the dance floor! kinda. as much as I can at least.
