NYE in AUS
I'll be in Melbourne Australia for New Years Eve and through Jan 9. Well I'm not there for NYE...more like I just happen to be there during that time. I'll do my best to blog while I'm there with some pics but I'm not really sure what I'll have the chance to do. Anybody want me to bring back some vegemite?

Russell,
Be sure to eat lots of vegemite. It is the nectar of the gods. Some of the best-tasting, adictive foods you'll ever eat!

You have got to be kidding me. I've heard it's like eating vomit for foreigners. Believe me, that's not going to deter me from trying it at all. I'll be sure to give a full review after my experience. Am I allowed to bring that stuff back through customs? I'll check on that. Wouldn't want you all to miss out on it!

Yeah, let me know how the vegemite experience goes. You can bring it back, too. No worries there, mate.

I had it this morning at brekky and it was pretty nasty dude. I did just as my new Aussie friend said - THIN layer of vegemite on toast along with a thin layer of butter. Man, I made that layer as thin as possible and STILL it was totally nasty. It was like eating poo. Not that I know what that's like. I do plan on bringing some back for any of you curious folk though.

I was just pulling your leg earlier. Yeah, vegemite is really nasty. Probably the nastiest food I've ever eaten, bar none. And I'm so sure it's the nastiest food any American has ever eaten that if they taste it and like it, I will buy them a lifetime supply.
