Ute Pass Trail
I've never been happier to see the incline. After climbing 3000 ft in the first 5 miles of hiking, I was ready to roll down the incline to just get to level ground again. My feet were blistered, it was ridiculously hot, I was out of water, and I'm in terrible hiking shape.
But I did a new great hike! Just what the doctor ordered. I only saw one person for the entire first 6 miles and it was awesome.
Turns out that the first people I saw before descending the incline was a dad and her young daughter...who I helped find a parking space 2.5 hours before! I thought that was great.
btw, on my way down the incline I saw a dude from michigan who was doing the incline for the very first time. And he was in FLIP FLOPS!! crazy out of towner.
So Ute Pass Trail. Check it out. I did the shortest route possible. UPT to LRR and then down the incline. 3 hrs, 15 min total. http://www.inclineclub.com/maps/upt_lrr_bt.htm
